untapt: Lead Generation for B2B

untapt builds elite AI products for corporations, recruitment agencies and startups. As the Head of Growth Marketing, I was in charge of generating high quality b2b leads for the sales pipeline and creating all documents and assets necessary to close deals. In an overcrowded and complex market, I generated 970 leads in 7 months, leading to hundreds of thousands in annual recurring revenue.

Stage 1: Awareness

I drove cold leads to untapt’s website through search ads & sponsored content. All budgeted, targeted, and written/designed by me.

Google Search Ads were targeted towards a large, but incredibly precise pool of ad groups and keywords around industry research/buying questions, competitor names, trending topics, etc.

LinkedIn Ads were targeted by relevant industries, job titles, skills, company sizes, etc. The ad creative was adjusted to be as relevant as possible for their specific audience. See some example ads to the right.

Stage 2: Interest

I wrote and A/B tested several landing page variations to increase conversion rate from visits to potential leads.

The ideas were complex, but I broke them down with simple and authentic language to engage both technical and non-technical readers.

Stage 3: Education & Closing

I wrote and designed a variety of case studies, brochures, and presentations to help our sales team close. This required close coordination with our data science experts as well as the sales leads, who had very different viewpoints and goals.

Stage 4: Growth

To keep untapt in the public eye, grow our SEO and attract thought leaders to our product, I got our name into some of the most prestigious press outlets in America.

I produced dozens of articles for Forbes, Entrepreneur, MoneyInc and more (some are attributed to our CEO Ed Donner, but all written by me). I also worked with a PR agency to place untapt in Markets Insider, NASDAQ, SHRM and more.
